kSpectra Toolkit consists of a set of tools for advanced spectral analysis of time series in many sciences, ranging from finance and economics to geophysics and biomedical sciences.
Blackman-Tukey correlogram, the Maximum-Entropy Method, the Multi-Taper Method (MTM) and Singular-spectrum Analysis (SSA) are provided for spectral estimation. SSA and MTM can also be used for separation and reconstruction of trends, near-periodic and other significant components from noise, using sophisticated statistical significance tests, while Pincipal Component Analysis is available for data compression. See FAQ on spectral analysis for more information.
kSpectra Toolkit takes full advantage of Max OS X to provide you the best user experience and performance:
- Latest OS X technologies: Automator, Spotlight and AppleScript.
- Integrated help.
- Drag-and-drop I/O.
- Plots output in EPS, PDF and QuickTime.
- Easy and intuitive object-based data management, single project files for all data and graphs.
- Its core numerical linear algebra computations use the BLAS and Lapack functions in AppleĆs Accelerate framework, which provides the best optimization for both Power-PC and Intel based Mac platforms.
